Dear Saint Louis Covenant School and Parish Family,

Mr. Eddy Garcia has announced his intent to retire at the end of the school year. I wish to thank Mr. Garcia for his OUTSTANDING service here in Saint Louis for the last 10 plus years.

As referenced in Eddy's letter, we will be launching a search for the next principal of Saint Louis Covenant School. The search process will be guided by a committee made up of parents, alumni, staff, and other community members. This search will be facilitated by the Office of Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese. The committee will complete interviews of qualified candidates and recommend any finalists to me for hire. Our hope is to complete this process in the next several months, far ahead of the end of the school year, so that the new principal can begin his/her role on July 1, 2024.

The next principal of Saint Louis Covenant School will take on an institution that is already thriving. Please join me in praying that the Holy Spirit will guide our search process and bring it to a successful conclusion.

I know you join me in wishing Eddy and his wife Ana the very best as they transition into a well-deserved retirement. And at a very early age!

Sincerely in the Lord,

Fr. Gabriel Vigues
Pastor
