Humanities Backpack Project
August 1 – 12, 2026
Help support Miami-Dade children by donating a new backpack filled with school supplies! Backpacks will be collected at all weekend Masses and in the parish office during regular hours. Suggested Supplies: Crayons, Markers, Pencils, Loose Leaf Paper, Ruler, Pens (Red, Blue, Black), Expo Markers, Pocket Folders, Binders, Erasers, Pencil Pouch, Notebook Donations will benefit students from St. Louis, St. John Bosco, St. James, St. Michael, St. Ann Mission, and St. Monica.

Motorcade Procession with the Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Charity
On Saturday, August 22, join us for a Motorcade Procession with the Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Charity from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The procession will travel to multiple parishes, offering the faithful an opportunity to pray, reflect, and venerate Our Lady as she visits our community.
The stop at St. Louis will take place at 11:30 am.

El Sábado 22 de Agosto, acompáñenos en la procesión vehicular con la imagen peregrina de Nuestra Señora de la Caridad, de 10:00 a.m. a 5:00 p.m. El recorrido incluirá varias parroquias, brindando a los fieles la oportunidad de orar, reflexionar y venerar a Nuestra Señora mientras visita nuestra comunidad.
La parada en la parroquia de St. Louis tendrá lugar a las 11:30 am.
Religious Education Registration
Registration for Religious Education is now open.
Give your child the gift of faith, friendship, and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Classes begin in September after Labor Day. Space is limited, so we encourage families to register early. We are also seeking catechists who feel called to share their faith and help form the next generation of disciples.
Holy Communion under both species
Great news for our parish community!
Beginning at the Saturday, 5:00 pm Vigil Mass, Holy Communion will now be offered under both species the Body and Blood of Christ. This meaningful opportunity allows the faithful to more fully experience the richness of the Eucharist.
We invite all to join us for this special celebration as we deepen our participation in the sacred mystery of the Mass.

Altar Server Training
Children in 3rd grade and up who have received First Holy Communion are invited to take part in Altar Server Training! This is a wonderful opportunity to grow closer to Jesus, learn responsibility, and actively serve during Mass.
Join us in the Main Sanctuary for hands-on training with Father Gabriel on August 15 at 9:30 am. Serving at the altar is not only a meaningful ministry but also a chance to build confidence and earn service hours.

Men’s Emmaus Retreat
September 25–27, 2026 at MorningStar Renewal Center
The Saint Louis Catholic Church invites men to participate in the Men’s English Emmaus Retreat, a transformative weekend inspired by the Gospel story of the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13–35).
This retreat offers an opportunity to step away from daily life and enter into a deeper relationship with Christ through prayer, reflection, and fellowship with other men of faith.
Throughout the weekend, participants will experience talks, small group discussions, and moments of prayer designed to help them recognize the presence of Jesus in their lives.
