Confirmation

"Let no one have contempt for your youth, but set an example for those who believe, in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.”

1 Timothy 4:12

Confirmation is a Catholic Sacrament of mature Christian commitment and a deepening of baptismal gifts. It is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation for Catholics. It is associated with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is a two-year process for all Catholics who have received the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion. Ordinarily, this process begins in seventh grade and culminates at the end of eighth grade.

For teenagers entering at a later age, we offer a two year high school Confirmation program. Confirmation candidates over the age of 18 are invited to join our Adult Confirmation program.
